Short North
The Short North Arts District is the heart of the Columbus’ nightlife, restaurant, shopping, and arts scene. This neighborhood borders High Street, the city’s main thoroughfare, and is known for its unique housing options, a diverse and inclusive community, and its close proximity to downtown and the Columbus Convention Center. Directly east of High Street in Italian Village where the development of historic homes, new modern construction, and an influx of bars and restaurants have transformed the community into a nightlife hub. To the west of the Short North Arts District, you’ll find the mostly residential Victorian Village. As the name suggests, there’s outstanding Victorian architecture, but also some standout destinations, like the picturesque Goodale Park.
